Use of special photography filters, especially narrowband filters, often results in dim images which can be difficult to focus. Baader Planetarium Clear Filters can be used first to clearly focus the image. Since they are parfocal with other Baader filters, they can then be removed and replaced by other imaging filters, without affecting focus.
